From September 27 to October 13, 2017, the Raw Material Industry Department (Rare Earth Office) of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in conjunction with experts organized by China Rare Earth Industry Association, conducted verification and investigation on some rare earth enterprises in Henan and Jiangsu provinces, focusing on the procurement, production and sales of raw materials in enterprises with comprehensive utilization of resources, and on the protection of rare earth resources and the addition of rare earth resources. We should listen to the opinions of local governments and enterprises on strengthening local supervision and other issues. During the verification, it was found that some enterprises of comprehensive utilization of resources had problems of processing mineral products and environmental protection facilities not up to the standard in the name of "resource utilization". The inspection team exchanged opinions with the relevant local authorities on the problems found, and asked the local industrial authorities to deal with them as soon as possible in accordance with the law and regulations, and to do a good job of routine supervision.
